On August 26, 2025, residents of District Four will elect a Council Member to represent them for the remaining four-year term left vacant by David Silva after he won the mayoral seat on November 5, 2024.

The Special Election will be conducted via mail-in ballot, mailed to all registered voters in District Four only.
Ballots will begin being mailed out on Monday, July 28. They are due on Tuesday, August 26. The ballot box located in front of City Hall (107 West Highway 246) will be opened to accept mail-in ballots and will be collected by County Election workers.
